Alan Lotvin, MD

Executive Vice President, CVS Health and President of CVS Caremark

Executive Vice President, CVS Health and President of CVS Caremark Alan Lotvin, MD, is Executive Vice President, CVS Health, and President, CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefits management (PBM) business. In this role, Lotvin oversees all aspects of the PBM business including sales and account management, operations, mail service pharmacy, CVS Specialty, and CVS Kidney Care. Lotvin also drives PBM strategy, new business development and client relationship management and retention.

Prior to his current role, Lotvin served as executive vice president and chief transformation officer of CVS Health, and before that executive vice president of CVS Specialty, the specialty pharmacy of CVS Health.

Before joining CVS Health in 2012, Lotvin was president and chief executive officer of ICORE Healthcare, a Magellan Health Services company. Previously, Lotvin held multiple roles at Medco Health Solutions, including president of Medco Specialty Pharmacy Services and senior vice president of Manufacturer Contracting.

Lotvin holds US Patent #6269819 Method and Apparatus for Circulatory Valve Repair. He is co-author of the book Live Better, Live Longer.

Lucille Accetta, RPh, is Senior Vice President Interim Head of Specialty Pharmacy and PBM Product Innovation, CVS Health. She oversees specialty strategy, all PBM and specialty cost and care management solutions, physician services and CVS Pharmacy Specialty Services (CarePlus), pricing and network innovation, and Coram home infusion and nutrition care. &nbsp She joined CVS Health in July 2017 as VP, Specialty Program Management, Benefits Verification as well as Pharmaceutical Manufacturer Reporting and Pharma Account Management team. Prior to CVS Health, she served as VP, Global Operations, Patient Solutions at Teva Pharmaceutical managing MS & Respiratory patient support programs in 35 countries throughout Europe, S. America, Canada, U.S, S. Africa, and Emerging Markets. She spent 14 years at Medco/ESI in Product Management, Specialty, and International leadership roles. Joel Helle, RPh

Vice President of Physician Services for CVS Specialty

Joel Helle is the Vice President of Physician Services for CVS Specialty, a division of CVS Health. In this role, Helle is responsible for the physician & hospital experience with our specialty pharmacies throughout the country across over twelve therapies as well as our relationships with specialty patient support groups ensuring a commitment to patients with health disparities.

With over 25 years of experience with the organization, Helle is committed to developing relationships with patients, prescriber offices and institutions to create a world class specialty pharmacy experience that cannot be matched in the industry. He has unique expertise in understanding the role of specialty pharmacy, the needs and challenges for patients and those that support them in multiple therapies, and how to share advocate on their behalf across the organization. A pharmacist by training, he is a member and past chair of CVS Health's Diversity Management Leadership Committee (DMLC), and a frequent speaker at industry and cross enterprise events.

Tricia Lacavich

VP & General Manager, Coram

Tricia Lacavich is Vice President and General Manager of Coram CVS Specialty Infusion Services, which provides important infusion care and nutrition support services to a range of patients in their home or in one of the Coram ambulatory infusion suites across the country. She has oversight of all business operations and growth, including the organization’s sales strategy and clinical and quality assurance standards.

Prior to her current position, Lacavich has held several leadership roles within Coram, acquired by CVS Health in 2014. Most recently, as Vice President of Sales, she grew infusion and enteral revenue and oversaw all clinical sales colleagues. Prior to Coram, Lacavich managed regional pharmacy operations, compliance, and nursing for Apria Healthcare. Lacavich is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Louis University, and began her career as an intensive care unit nurse at the University hospital.

Sabrina Martin, RN, BSN

Vice President of Sales, Coram

Sabrina Martin is Vice President of Sales, Coram. She leads a team of sales leaders responsible for driving infusion and enteral sales growth, developing the sales team, and leading the organizations sales strategy and execution in support of our strategic company goals and continued commitment to our customers and patients.

Sabrina Martin has over 20 years of sales and management experience and joined Coram in 2011. Most recently she served as Senior Director, Strategy for Coram. Sabrina also held leadership positions as Sr. Director of Sales, West Division, Sr. Advisor of Infused Products, Regional Sales Manager, and Biological Sales Specialist

Sabrina is a registered nurse by background and received her BSN from Temple University in Philadelphia.

Ahmed Hassan

Vice President and General Manager, PBM Care Management

Ahmed Hassan is on a mission to transform healthcare through member-centric innovation.

As the VP and GM of Care Management at CVS Health, Ahmed oversees the operations, product development, sales and account management, and clinical teams for the care management portfolio. This includes management of the company’s full suite of population health and condition-specific solutions across Adherence, Drug Savings, Medical Cost Avoidance, Site of Care, Quality, Diabetes, Rare and Chronic Kidney Disease. In this role, Ahmed and his team have delivered double-digit growth year over year.

Prior to his tenure with CVS Health, Ahmed held leadership roles in several health care and technology organizations. He has led multiple startups in the healthcare space focusing on value-based contracting, risk consolidation and care management service delivery. Ahmed began his career at Accenture in the Emerging Technology Strategy & Product Development team. He later transitioned to Oliver Wyman's Health & Life Sciences consulting practice, where he helped the firm's payors, providers and pharmaceutical clients adapt to the changing health care landscape.

Ahmed holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Northwestern University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

Joshua Fredell, PharmD

Vice President, Product Development at CVS Health

During his 16 years with the organization, Fredell has focused on the ideation, commercialization and ongoing management of clinical products and services ranging from those designed to manage unnecessary pharmacy spend improving overall healthcare through adherence and closing gaps in care. Currently, he and his team are focused on evolving formulary and cost management strategies within both the pharmacy and medical benefits including designs for utilization management, preferred drug strategies, value-based contracting, and plan design programs. Prior to CVS Health, Fredell was part of the pharmacy department of UPMC Health Plan and earned his PharmD from the University of Pittsburgh.

Michelle Peluso

Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, CVS Health and Co-President of CVS Pharmacy

Michelle Peluso is Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer, CVS Health and Co-President, CVS Pharmacy, responsible for leading the front store Retail business, transforming CVS Health’s consumer experience across all touchpoints, accelerating the company’s digital transformation and advancing the company’s brand and marketing.

Michelle has an extensive 25-year career building world-class consumer experiences. She most recently served as Senior Vice President, Digital Sales and Chief Marketing Officer for IBM where she oversaw all global marketing and brand experiences, digital sales and the commercial business. Prior to IBM, Michelle was CEO of Gilt from 2013 until its sale to Hudson’s Bay Company in 2016. In her role at Gilt, she oversaw the expansion of the business and its drive to profitability.

Michelle served as Chief Consumer Marketing and Internet Officer for Citigroup, leading the bank’s award-winning digital transformation. She also served from 2002 to 2009 as CEO of Travelocity, pioneering online travel and driving significant scale worldwide. She joined Travelocity following its acquisition of Site59, a travel site she created and launched in 1999.

Michelle earned a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business and an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University. She is a member of the Board of Directors at Nike, Inc., and the nonprofit organization, TechnoServe. Additionally, she served as a White House Fellow and Senior Advisor to Secretary of Labor Alexis Herman.

Prem Shah, PharmD

Executive Vice President, Chief Pharmacy Officer, CVS Health and Co-President, CVS Pharmacy

Prem Shah is Chief Pharmacy Officer, CVS Health and Co-President of CVS Pharmacy. In this role, Shah has oversight and responsibility for the company’s Omnichannel Pharmacy strategy focused on integration across all channels to make pharmacy interactions as personalized and seamless as possible, and meeting the health care needs of consumers when and where they want them, including at home, virtually and in the community.

Prior to his current role, Prem held several positions at CVS Health where he has provided strategic oversight of key Specialty Pharmacy functions to help deliver high quality patient care, while improving preference among physicians, health plans and health systems. Prior to joining CVS Health, Prem was Senior Vice President of ICORE, a Magellan Health Services Company. Previously he led the startup of the Specialty Pharmacy division at WellCare Health Plans, Inc. and served in other management roles.

Prem holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Florida.

Daniel Knecht, MD, MBA

Vice President, Chief Clinical Innovation Officer of CVS Caremark

A board-certified internist, Daniel Knecht, MD, MBA currently serves as Vice President, Chief Clinical Innovation Officer, CVS Caremark. Dr. Knecht’s focus is on helping clients better understand the evolving clinical landscape of specialty medications, develop strategies for better patient care and outcomes, and manage costs.

Prior to this role, as Vice President, Clinical Product, Dr. Knecht was responsible for clinical product ideation, concept development and testing, optimization, launch, performance, and measurement in collaboration with key stakeholders across the enterprise.

Dr. Knecht is a Fulbright scholar and graduated with honors from Dartmouth College. He also has a joint M.D., M.B.A., from Weill Cornell Medical College and Johnson Graduate School of Management where he was a recipient of the Lee Family Scholarship. He also is an associate clinical professor at Mount Sinai West in New York City where he still sees patients.

Steve Schaper

Senior Vice President, Employer Sales & Account Services, CVS Caremark

Steve Schaper is Senior Vice President, Sales & Account Services at CVS Health. In this role, Steve has responsibility for PBM new business sales, consultant relations and sales operations. He also oversees existing Employer and Government client relationships.

Steve is an executive with more than 30 years of health care experience. He joined CVS Health in 2000 and has served in numerous key sales leadership roles in CVS Caremark and is a current member of CVS Caremark’s Executive Committee.

Prior to joining CVS Health, Steve worked in several sales-focused and underwriting positions for The Prudential Insurance Company of America. He also previously worked at Aetna, Inc.

Tom Gilson

Senior Vice President, Health Plans Sales & Account Services, CVS Caremark

Tom Gilson serves as the Senior Vice President, Health Plans Sales & Account Services, CVS Caremark where he is responsible for managing business commitments, service support, and contractual compliance activities for CVS Health’s health plans. Gilson joined CVS Health in July 2013. He has extensive experience in health care and the insurance industry, including PBM services. Gilson is a graduate of Colgate University with a concentration in Economics. He also has a Master’s of Business Administration degree in Finance from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Sree Chaguturu, MD

Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of CVS Caremark

Sree Chaguturu, MD is Senior Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of CVS Caremark, where he focuses on ensuring patients have access to safe and affordable prescriptions, while also contributing to the overall mission of CVS Health. He most recently was Chief Population Health Officer at Mass General Brigham and previously was a health care consultant at McKinsey and Company.

Dr. Chaguturu is also a practicing internal medicine physician at Massachusetts General Hospital and a Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. His articles have appeared in publications such as the New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and Health Affairs. Dr. Chaguturu received his BA degree in biology from Brown University and his doctorate of medicine degree from Brown University Medical School. He completed his internal medicine and primary care training at Massachusetts General Hospital.

David L. Casey

Senior Vice President, Workforce Strategies and Chief Diversity Officer President, CVS Health Employee Relief Fund

David Casey is Senior Vice President of Workforce Strategies and Chief Diversity Officer for CVS Health, the nation’s largest pharmacy innovation company with $184 billion in revenue and more than 300,000 colleagues worldwide.
Casey is responsible for formulating and executing the company’s diversity management, EEO/affirmative action, and workforce initiatives strategies. He also serves as the president of the CVS Health Employee Relief Fund, a public charity designed to help CVS Health employees during unanticipated and unavoidable financial hardships and emergencies.
